From the basement of Webster Elementary School (which was the only place within the school for the band to rehearse) to nearly 43 years later, our Founder and President of 727 Instrumental returned this time to bring brand new instruments to well deserving students. With the help of Webster's Music Director Bill Sokolowski (pictured in the middle) along with our Grantor Charlie Reller (pictured to the right), our President Mark DiGiorgio (pictured to the left) was able to purchase the much needed musical instruments for these students to own.
Our mission is to provide students with their very own musical instrument to own when their family may not be able to afford them. 727 Instrumental is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underserved children, grades 4-12 by providing them with musical instruments that will directly impact their school experience. By gifting them with an instrument as well as providing them access to private lessons, students are provided year-round access to practicing, learning and developing skills that enhance their school and educational experience. Identifying that children who are enrolled in music and arts programs have significantly higher attendance rates, grade point averages and overall feelings of inclusion and community, 727 Instrumental recognized an opportunity to support children in districts across Onondaga County which directly benefits those children and their respective school's band programs.
